International Day of Women and Girls in Science

 

February 11 is the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. As a part of the bilingual program, we have made a “LAPBOOK” to the celebrate that day. The Lapbook has the life of women who worked in science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM).

The students searched online information about some items regarding a specific scientific woman: place of birth, country, life, remembered for…, field of specialization, awards and prizes, interesting facts and curiosities to be highlighted….

Once the information was found, they made a lapbook.
